This past week the AnGeL Ministries Office was honored by a visit with Jonathan Feldstein. I had met Jonathan briefly this past summer when I was in Jerusalem. He is a lovely man, an American born Jew, who immigrated to Israel in 2004 and lives there today with his wife and six children. One of his passions is to build bridges between Israel and the Christians who support her, which is one of the reasons he founded Heart to Heart, a unique non-profit that donates blood to bless Israel.

As I have meditated on the wondrous nativity story this Christmas, I have been struck by Elizabeth’s response to her pregnancy after a lifetime of being barren. In Luke 1:25 she bears witness, “The Lord has done this for me…In these days he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.”
