Morning
Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or
“What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” . . . For
your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
O h, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. § No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.
I want you to be without care. § Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. § Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? § Have faith in God.

Evening
He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. § There will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.
The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand… The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. § The Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
