…Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good… — Psalm 100:4-5
Savior of the world,*
Your love for ruined sinners is incomprehensible. You have ransomed us from the power of sin. You have destroyed the victory of the grave. Through Your death You defeated the one who had the power of death—the devil—releasing us from the fear of death, which had kept us bound all our lives. Through our faith in You, we receive forgiveness of sin, salvation from hell, eternal life, a heavenly Home, and ten thousand blessings besides! We know who we are, why we are here, where we are going. Life has purpose and meaning and eternal significance. With such glorious good news, why would we keep it to ourselves? We can’t! We feel compelled to tell others that they are loved by God. That there is a Savior. That there is divine help at present and hope for the future. That their lives have an eternal purpose. Thank You for the privilege of sharing the gospel. In the strong name of Jesus, Amen.
