The following video was forwarded to me, and I thought it was worth sharing with you on this first day of December. It’s an advertisement, based on a true story, for candy of all things.
But as we begin focusing on Christmas with the busyness of decorating, shopping, wrapping, baking and festivities that are a part of this special season of the year, it’s good to be reminded that Christmas is God’s Peace Plan. I’ve been thinking of the difference this Plan would make if implemented in Syria, Iraq, and the West Bank. Or in our own homes. So this Christmas, I want to give others a gift that lasts. Not a cracker in a tin or a box of candy, but the hope, love, joy, and peace that the Baby of Bethlehem came to give us.
